  • We analyzed eighteen fractures of femoral neck, treatment is delayed more than seven days and followed more than 2 years at Korea Veterans Hospital from Jalluary 1981 to March 1989.
    All Cases were treated with multiple Knowles pinning.
    Following results were obtained.
    1. The best results of femoral neck fracture were obtained by anatomical reduction and internal fixation, as soon as possible.
    2. The time interval, between 1 week and 3 weeks, between injury and operation has no definite relationship with the incidence of avascular necrosis.
