Abstract PDF: Osteofibrous dysplasia is a rare benign fibrosseous lesion that occurs predominantly in children. It is almost always occurs in the tibia, occasionally in both tibia and fibula or only in the fibula. It is distinguished from fibrous dysplasia by the osteoblastic rimming of the bony trabeculae and the presence of lamellar bone and radiographically by its cortical location rather than medullary location. We are now reporting a case of an eleven-year-old male patient who had a osteofibrous dysplasia of the femoral shaft with pathological fracture.
